So happy to announce that I am scheduling sessions in both Metro Detroit and Oklahoma City areas, and special summer sessions partnering with Red Barns Photography in Jackson Hole, WY.
I believe that photographs truly make a house a home and that you can never have too many. I love to be surrounded by images that tell a story - photos that touch me and speak to me, or photos that simply make me smile. I have learned that life is all about the little things -- a loving look, a crooked smile, a touch from a tiny hand. The meaning and fulfillment in life lies in each of these tiny fleeting moments that make up our daily lives. As I observe my family and the little things they do or say, I often wish I could stop the time. I love that photographs do just that -- freeze time and capture a look, a moment, a feeling, that would otherwise be gone in an instant.
While I love meeting and interacting with all of my clients, the best part comes when they get to see their session images. It is the ultimate reward to hear clients say that their photographs brought tears to their eyes or that I was able to capture the true essence of each of their children's personalities. For me, this is what photography is all about -- preserving those fleeting moments and providing my clients with meaningful images that will be treasured and loved for years to come.
My love of people and preserving memories will be evident during our session. It will feel more like a play date than a “photo shoot.” The ability to connect with your family is essential in capturing their spirit as well as their beauty. My goal is to create beautiful images that tell the unique story of your family.

I fell in love with photography while in high school. I’ve nurtured that love through many life changes including my own marriage and the birth of my two daughters, Kendall and Ainsley -- capturing my family as it has grown. My one-time hobby has grown into a passion.
