Cercle Sportif Mauricien de Montreal
An annual sports event which started back in May 1990 takes place every year during Victoria Day long weekend with the venue alternating between Montreal and Toronto. It is a friendly sports tournament between Club M (Toronto) and Cercle Sportif Mauricien de Montreal (Montreal). The sports event and the celebration party are open to the whole Mauritian community of Montreal and Toronto. It provides an excellent opportunity for the communities of both cities to meet, socialize and rekindle old friendships not only from afar but also from across town. This event is evolving and we are hoping that it will continue for many more years to come. We would like to encourage everyone who is interested in participating in any of the sports to come out and join us in our practices (please refer to sports page). Volunteers for the once a year event are also welcomed to get involved as any help is greatly appreciated to keep this event alive.
