SD HIV Prevention

Description: In 1993, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) initiated the HIV Prevention planning process in all 50 states. The goal of this process was to have communities, through an open and inclusive process, determine the local HIV prevention priorities in their area. The mission of the San Diego County HIV Prevention Community Planning Board is to promote risk reduction activities and prevent new HIV infections in the County of San Diego.
