And as a national referral center, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital intend to give the best service for the general public at large. One important element in health care is the practice of medicine as the primary standard in the health service. In the past science and art of medicine were blended into the practice of medicine. But in fact science and art (according to definition outlined above) are two different things. On the one hand, the practice of medicine must always be based on research (the evidence) scientific. But on the other hand the practice of medicine is also based on intuition (feeling) and experience empiricism) that does not personally obtained through a scientific method. It shows that the medicine is like having two contradictory sides.
